Wireless technology executive with extensive mobile product and market expertise. Long track record of launching new technology-driven businesses within large industry players, such as Google and Motorola, as well as with early-stage start-ups. Dual Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business from top-ranked institutions.
Juan Santiago is VP of Cloud Platform Services at InfiniG. He previously held various executive positions at Meta, Commscope, Ruckus Wireless, Google and Powerwave Technologies. Prior to that, Juan spent over 20 years at the global mobile phone and wireless networking giant Motorola, holding various positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, marketing, and executive management, eventually starting and running a wireless business unit with $300M in annual revenues. Juan holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has published dozens of articles on wireless communications and has been granted three US patents.

Co-founded start-up to bring mobile network coverage inside buildings, at a significantly lower cost than distributed antenna systems (DAS) and with more reliable coverage than cell boosters.
META (FACEBOOK)
Helped architect the launch of the world’s first and largest CBRS neutral host network, providing coverage for AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon cellular users inside over 6M square feet of Meta buildings. Developed cost models and additional private applications to leverage the network. Provided strategic direction to ecosystem-driven initiatives, including OpenWiFi, 5G Core, Converged Wireless and CBRS.
RUCKUS/COMMSCOPE
Developed the market and launched the very first products for the $28B market of in-building wireless coverage solutions for service providers and enterprises leveraging the CBRS band. Aggressively pursued and closed Private Networks business with telecom service providers and major enterprises.
Grew Athena Wireless business from a 10-person millimeter-wave startup to an LTE small cell player and sold to Google. Provided wireless technology and ecosystem expertise in the areas of LTE cellular, small cells, WiFi and millimeter-wave backhaul for Google Access and GoogleX.
POWERWAVE
Led the entry into the wireless small cell market for Powerwave, a designer of innovative specialized wireless equipment. Developed and launched the world’s first 4G LTE Picocell to the mobile carrier and defense markets.
MOTOROLA
Held multiple senior leadership roles in engineering, marketing, and business development, eventually building and running a $300M/year wireless infrastructure business. Operated in most major areas of the corporation, including mobile phones, cellular network equipment, wireless data, public safety networks, and fixed broadband.
